Easter Dirt Cake is a playful and delicious no-bake dessert that resembles a garden soil bed, perfect for Easter celebrations. It features a crunchy Oreo base, a creamy filling of cream cheese and vanilla pudding, topped with chocolate candy eggs and optional gummy worms for a festive touch.

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreos, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (5.1 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup chocolate candy eggs
  • Gummy worms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed Oreos and butter; press into a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Whisk milk and pudding mix; add vanilla extract and let stand.
  4. Combine cream cheese and pudding mixtures; fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread over Oreo crust; top with chocolate eggs and gummy worms.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a firmer base, chill the Oreo layer before adding the filling.
  • Substitute chocolate pudding for a more chocolatey flavor.
  • Can be made a day ahead and kept refrigerated.
